Landscapes Local to Livermore California
The Photography of Jennie and Chuck McGregor
Although it would be nice to have the money to venture to far off and exotic places to explore with a camera, not everyone can do this. Instead we are stuck at home looking at familiar landscapes that seem mundane. This isn't always such a bad thing. Looking at familiar landscapes in a new way develops the "photographer's eye".
In Livermore, the valley is the home to vineyards and the hills to windmills. Developing open space is considered just as important as urban development. This isn't such a bad place for a photographer to live.
