Images of the California Shoreline

The Photography of Jennie and Chuck McGregor

The San Francisco Bay can be bright and sunny one minute and then enveloped in a dark, mood fog the next. Much of the area is under going an environmental transformation, where the old salt flats are being restored back to their natural state to attract wildlife such as birds back into the area. The are other areas, such as Old Harbor at the San Pablo Wildlife Refuge, that are being allowed to disappear back into the San Francisco Bay. In short, the San Francisco Bay Area shoreline beckons to the wildlife and landscape photographer.
